This specialist Recovery Nurse job in Bradford will recognise your expert skills and knowledge of recovery procedures in a modern nursing environment.

Based near Bradford, within commutable distance of Leeds you?ll work with a leading provider of innovative care as part of a government initiative offering fast, same day or short stay surgery and diagnostic procedures in a NHS Treatment Centre.

As a specialist theatre recovery Nurse your contribution will be valued as a vital part of the recovery team. You will be responsible for clinical decisions; proactively adapting care plans in response to the patient?s condition as part of a multi-speciality team, enjoying a fully supported environment.
To be considered you must be a Registered General Nurse or ODP and have relevant theatre recovery experience including understanding of the following responsibilities:

Pre-operative checks of the patients physically as well as all notes, consent, results and x-rays.
Check the recovery bays are set up and equipped appropriately for the day?s lists.
Collect and/or receive patients from the ward.
Ensure the cleanliness of the recovery is of the highest standard to meet with policy.
